wienarchitektur.at On a former slaughterhouse site, this housing project and the park in which it is embedded form a new small city quarter in its own right. The structures rest atop stilts, which ensures airy permeability and creates a transition zone to the densely built-up urban area outside, while the transversal block and town villas are characterised by the three-dimensional façade structure of their vertical gardens.
