The neunerhaus Hagenmüllergasse contains temporary apartments for formerly homeless women, men, and couples over the age of 25. The exterior of the sand-coloured building with the offset white-framed windows already hints at the fact that the 73 residential units are each unique. Each floor is different, each view is different. Apart from the focus on individuality and privacy, community is also an important aspect. The structural design enables personal exchange. A large common area runs through the entire house like a promenade. The lower floor has a large, naturally lit meeting place with a courtyard. The ground floor houses contact points for social and health care, and the upper floors comprise the actual apartments, among them apartments that are accessible for tenants with special needs.
