Outsiders might find the massive blocks to be intimidating. They house 3’180 apartments, 3’400 garage parking spots, two health centres, three schools, and three day care facilities. The apartment complex is regularly rated highly when it comes to quality of life, safety, and usage variety, likely also due to the gym, tennis courts, playgrounds to use in case of inclement weather, the church, and the shopping centre.
Many have named the seven indoor swimming pools and seven rooftop pools – 70 metres above ground – as a catalyst for the shared living arrangement. Around 9‘000 people live here, which is equivalent to an average-sized small town. And they live in the midst of greenery, lots of greenery: roughly 140’000 square metres of public green space in total.
