gebaut The rooftop addition for the RZB Building was made possible by relocating the cooling units to vacate areas boasting a magnificent view of Vienna. Transparency, lightness, dynamism and energy, farsightedness and discretion, high standards and precision – all these characteristics embodying the very nature of banks have become built reality here and in this way have changed the image of both the existing building and its users. The impact of the Sky Conference addition on the cityscape mostly derives from the glass façades of the conference zones and bow fronts, which curve boldly outward and endow the monolithic RZB Building with renewed dynamism. In this way, the edifice has not only gained more space for its users – its outward appearance, too, has been enhanced.
