gebaut The building under monument protection was enlarged by adding an annexe in the interior courtyard and linking it directly to the old stock. A one-storey volume in the courtyard houses the consultation centre. Above, a six-storey office wing was constructed parallel to Prinz-Eugen-Strasse and connected to the main building by means of a multi-storey, transparent object. The functional solution was to completely separate the consultation centre from the internal offices of the Chamber. Above a three-metre-wide vertical lobby that also sets off the addition from the old building, the six-storey annexe accommodates the canteen and several extensions to existing services.
