gebaut The original building of the youth hostel – a former convent from the 1950s – was extended by a modern annexe. The different functions and types of use are reflected in the façade: entrance, lobby and vertical circulation routes are visible as an open glass structure with a meandering infinity loop; the guestrooms are situated behind a compact aluminium panel façade with horizontal ribbon windows.
