The façade of this post-war building was given a new “top layer” that is composed of wavy stainless-steel structural tubes that are slightly set off vis-à-vis one another, feature a square cross-section and are held together by a frame. This layer is superimposed on the façade like a silvery undulating wave while disclosing a view of the façade behind. The result is a building envelope that, depending on distance, emphasises different aspects of the façade.
