gebaut The new building for the Federal Office for Metrology and Surveying was inserted into a condensed urban block. With projecting bays, French windows and semi-transparent lamellas integrated into the metal slat façade, the façade design contrasts neatly with the typical Gründerzeit plaster façade of the pre-existing stock. The compactness and uniform design also foster stable indoor temperatures.
