yova The compact, freestanding, 2-storey building establishes an unmistakeable identity. The core of the building is designed as a spatially open system, around which a “filter layer” consisting of ancillary spaces, staircases and play areas is placed. Views through the interior make it easier to find your way around. Because the construction period had to be as short as possible a composite construction system was chosen that can be speedily erected and uses both in situ concrete and prefabricated timber elements.
