wienarchitektur.at The ellipsoidal residential high-rise situated between Matzleinsdorferplatz and Wienerberg rests atop a rectangular, two-part base that can be used by flexibly subdivided offices.
On the upper storeys, projecting, glazed panoramic bay-type loggias are part of every flat and ensure excellent views.
open house wien The elevator at Kundratstraße 6 takes you up to the 21st floor. The highrise stands 64 metres tall and houses 268 apartments. The elliptical shape of the construction was predetermined by the land designation, however – due to structural reasons – curved elements were not used for the façade. This created an elliptical shapes with lots of sharp edges.
Each apartment is equipped with a loggia offering sweeping views of Vienna. Special windows protect from wind and noise, and the curtains shield off the sun.
The apartment tower stands on a rectangular, two-storey base. The base’s three tracts on the ground floor harbour both large and independent stores, and the upper floors encompass customisable and bright office spaces. The third floor is a green roof with a playground that is accessible to all tenants.
