The functional spatial concepts of a total of 70 houses – originally furnished – demonstrate innovative housing solutions within minimal spatial confines. An outstanding example of modernism, this model settlement designed by numerous international and local architects headed by Josef Frank resembles a counterweight to the superblocks of Vienna’s municipal housing programme. At the moment, the development is undergoing gradual rehabilitation.
