On a former slaughterhouse site, this housing project and the park in which it is embedded form a new small city quarter in its own right. The structures rest atop stilts, which ensures airy permeability and creates a transition zone to the densely built-up urban area outside, while the transversal block and town villas are characterised by the three-dimensional façade structure of their vertical gardens.

On behalf of Österreichisches Siedlungswerk, a project co-operative composed of two studios designed a themed development geared towards urban professionals (single multi-unit block by the cherry-tree park) as well as senior citizens (line-type building on Attemsgasse). Both structures house a total of 101 residential units, are linked by a shared access zone and subtly correspond in their choice of materials and colour schemes.
