High-tech glazing for the staircase and a wide buffer clearance shield the flats – accessed via catwalks – against traffic noise. Bold materials – e.g. tarpaulin used as staircase covering – and the fully transparent look of the long building row make for an avant-garde embodiment of 1990s housing construction in Vienna.
